Welcome to Temple Beth El, Muncie! Temple Beth El is a century-old Reform congregation rooted in a rich Jewish tradition. We serve East Central Indiana – including Muncie, Anderson, Marion, Portland, and beyond.

Our focus is on warmth and friendship, caring and acceptance without judging others. Here everyone is welcome, regardless of age, marital status, sexual orientation, a Jew by birth or by choice as well as interfaith families. At Temple Beth El all are welcomed and cared for, elders are revered, and children are cherished.

We are large enough to host a variety of inspiring services and events; small enough to maintain meaningful connections with each individual and family member.

Upcoming Services and Events

Services are being held in person and will also be live streamed through Zoom.

Usually, our services are held approximately twice a month – Friday Shabbat service and Torah Study on Shabbat Morning. Upcoming gatherings:
